Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris may as well become the new David and Victoria Beckham for Sam Smith.

In a recent interview with Heat Magazine, the crooner suggested that the couple should try to make a joint advertisement ala David and Victoria Beckham. Smith even thought of the young couple as "The New Beckhams."

"[Her and Calvin] look sweet," Smith said as quoted by the Irish Examiner. "His body is amazing right now isn't it? They need to do a joint [advert] like David and Victoria. Are they the new Beckhams? They are!"

It's not clear whether Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris were open to Smith's suggestion.

Back in July though, Harris appeared on an underwear campaign for Emporio Armani and showed off his abs as reported by Us Weekly.

In August, it was also reported that Harris and his lady love were offered to do a joint underwear campaign for the same fashion house as told in a report on E! Online.

"Armani bosses reckon Taylor and Calvin could emulate the success of [David and Victoria]," an insider revealed to the Daily Star back then as quoted by the source above. "The Taylor offer is initially around the $10 million mark but that sum could then triple with global promotion if the campaign is successful."

The rumored offer was not addressed by neither of the couple's camps. But Swift has spoken last year that she has no intention of taking her clothes off anytime soon.

"I find it relatively easy to keep my clothes on because I don't really feel like taking them off," Swift told Glamour Magazine in Feb. 2014 as cited by Elle. "It's not an urge I have."

"For me, 'risky' is revealing what really happened in my life through music," Calvin Harris' lady love Taylor Swift added. "Risky is writing confessional songs and telling the true story about a person with enough details so everyone knows who that person is. That's putting myself out there, maybe even more than taking my shirt off."
