Thor 3' 2017 Casting Plot Rumors:  'Thor' fans left theaters wondering what happened to Loki at the end of the last installment, "Thor: The Dark World."

According to reports, 'Thor 3: Ragnarok' may have cut Loki's screen time to a supporting role. Fans are speculating whether that means Loki's part be just a cameo in "Thor 3: Ragnarok"

Tom Hiddleston recently said he is just as much in the dark over what Marvel plans for him.

"I don't know," Tom Hiddleston told Coming Soon.

"I think I won't be able to help it if I ever play him again, and I just don't know when that's gonna happen, if that's gonna happen. I would never lose his dimension, but it's so interesting. I've talked with Chris Hemsworth, how those characters have changed as we've changed. It's five years ago since I played him for the first time. That's a long time ago. So who knows what I'll be cooking up."

Cinema Blend speculated that Loki will be relegated to strong supporting position while Josh Brolin's Thanos rises in rank.

"I never quite know whether people want to see him again or whether people want to move on," Hiddleston told Coming Soon.

"I can't really take the temperature on it. It's so difficult, because if it did happen again, I would try not to repeat myself. I would try to do something new."

Ragnarok will have a link to Captain America Civil War. Recent reports say Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, which features Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), will introduce new characters like Black Panther into the Marvel Universe. The movie will also lay groundwork for upcoming sequels like "Thor: Ragnarok" and "Captain America: Civil War."

Variety reported that Sony Pictures signed Thor 3: Ragnarok writer Christopher Yost to rewrite the script for the He-Man live action reboot.

Christopher Yost began as a writer on animated shows like X-Men: Evolution, The Batman, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and went on to work on Marvel's Thor: The Dark World.

He is currently co-writing "Thor 3: Ragnarok" hits theaters on Nov. 3, 2017 a with Craig Kyle.
