Sean Rallies Support For Urbanathlon Charity Race Benefiting The Elderly

Ever the charitable role model, Sean (Noh Seung Hwan) is again leading the charge when it comes to supporting another fundraising event, this time an urbanathlon on October 3, reports Soompi.

The hip-hop pioneer, and one half of the iconic duo Jinusean, announced his participation through an Instagram post last Tuesday.

Sean called on his followers to pitch in for the donation drive.

"Continuing from last year, this second race consists of eight courses of obstacles and missions. The distance is 8 kilometers, and we will be donating one brick of coal per meter. One brick equals 500 won (approximately 4 cents). You can donate starting from two bricks," said Sean, in explaining the donation mechanics.

"If you donate 10,000 won (approximately $8), it will be 20 bricks. If we collect 8,000 bricks, I will add on and donate a total of 16,000 bricks of coal to the elderly so that they can spend a warm winter. I will do my best to run well so that the elders can be warm in the winter with the help of coal," he added.

Sean is noted for being an especially generous Korean artist, donating not only money but a lot of his time and energy in helping various causes.

Earlier this month, he also helped organize a hip-hop concert proceeds of which were donated to people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS. He also volunteered with the likes of Masta Wu in January and launched a campaign to run for children named "Good Action by Sean" last year.
