‘Expendables 4' Movie Casting News: Sylvester Stallone Hard At Work In New Script; Hulk Hogan And Dwayne Johnson Circling Villain Roles In Expendables 4

"Expendables 4" Movie Casting News: Sylvester Stallone is reportedly working hard to come up with new ideas and celebrities for the upcoming "Expendables 4" movie. The Expendables franchise cast famous actors for all their sequels. New rumors are centering on Hulk Hogan and The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, who is a fixture in the Fast & Furious franchise.

The latest Expendables 4 rumors say Sylvester Stallone is finally writing the script.

The latest casting rumors for the next installment of the Expendables franchise say The Rock, AKA Dwayne Johnson, and Hulk Hogan are on the short list to join the cast. Hogan and Stallone first collaborated during the filming of "Rocky III" back in 1982.

Hogan is one of the most iconic wrestlers of all time. He would be the second wrestler to play a villain in "The Expendables" series.

Hogan said he "Was talking on the phone with Sly [Stallone] about doing The Expendables 4."

Hogan confessed that he might have some trouble with the stunts but said a good stuntman would be able to solve that problem. Stone Cold Steve Austin was part of the bad guy crew with Eric Roberts in "The Expendables" from 2010.

Jean-Claude Van Damme and Mel Gibson have also played villains in The Expendables franchise. The last three films included almost all of the iconic action stars of the previous decades that included Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris and Harrison Ford.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson reportedly said that if he is picked up for "Expendables 4," he wants to be the villain.

"I don't want to be on their team and be buddies with them. F**k that noise," The Rock said. "I want to hunt every single one of them down and tell them to "send your soul to heaven cause your ass is mine."

The future of The Expendables franchise isn't guaranteed because the Sylvester Stallone's aging-action-hero franchise hasn't been making as much money domestically as the older films. Expendables 3 only made $39.3 million domestically.

"Expendables 4" cast rumors also include Manny Pacquiao, Mel Gibson, Antonio Banderas, Harrison Ford, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Wesley Snipes, Ronda Rousey, Terry Crews, Jet Li, and Kellan Lutz.

There is no confirmation from Sylvester Stallone about production on "The Expendables 4."
