Super Junior member Choi Siwon is thanking his fans for helping push viewer ratings for his new drama She Was Pretty past the 10% share mark.

The latest two episodes for the drama, episodes 5 and 6, which aired on September 30 and October 1, respectively, gained more than 10% viewer ratings based on TNmS and AGB data.

Viewer ratings have been climbing steadily from the 7-8% viewer ratings in the first three so episodes.

Siwon thanked fans with a special shout-out on his Instagram.

"'She was beautiful' has continuously received high viewer ratings, and recorded 10 percent last night! Thank you so much for all :)" said the idol on October 1.

She Was Pretty currently airs on the Korean broadcasting station MBC on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the 21:55 time slot. It is scheduled to finish airing in November.

Siwon co-stars in the romantic comedy series as the quirky features editor with a mysterious background, and becomes fast buddies with the female lead character, a fashion magazine assistant played by Hwang Jung Eum. Park Seo Joon and Go Jun Hee round out the headliner cast.

Siwon has been drawing rave reviews from fans for his lively and funny portrayal of his character. Siwon is not a stranger to acting, having been cast in a flurry of movie and drama roles in the past year. This year, in particular, he has racked up acting credits in China.

But the critical and popular success of She Was Pretty is a bittersweet moment for fans given the knowledge that this will be the last acting project for Siwon before he enlists in the military later in the year.
