'Kingsman 2' Release Date Yet To Be Announced, Eggsy Is Making His Return

“Kingsman 2” release date may be announced soon as the movie has just gotten the greenlight.

Spy movies are always a lot of fun to watch especially when it is entertaining, action-packed and has a witty script as well. There have been a number of different spy movies, but “Kingsman” just stole the spotlight when the film was released last year.

The news that a “Kingsman 2” release date may be announced is what fans are looking forward to. “Kingsman: The Secret Service” did really well at the box office and earned over $412 million on its worldwide release. Not only did the film do well in tickets sales but the film received a lot of good reviews from film critics.

According to Gamezone, Director Matthew Vaughn and screenwriter Jane Goldman are collaborating once again to come up with a fitting spy sequel to “Kingsman.”

They will be reportedly be bringing back Taron Egerton as Eggsy but there are some scheduling conflicts. The actor is said to be scheduled for Lionsgate’s “Robin Hood: Origins” around the same time as the sequel’s production, but it seems that both Lionsgate and Fox are willing agree upon an arrangement.

“Kingsman” was originally absed on a comic book titled “The Secret Service” that follows the recruitment process and hardcore training of a potential agent named Gary “Eggsy” Unwin. He is then included in a mission to take on a global threat from Richmond Valentine, the wealthy megalomaniac antagonist.

The film starred Mark Strong, Michael Caine, Samuel L. Jackson, and Colin Firth among others. There is no news on an official “Kingsman 2” release date nor any further details about the movie.
