Jessa And Jill Duggar To Tackle Brother Josh's Molestation Scandal In New Reality Show?

Jill and Jessa Duggar will have their own "19 Kids and Counting" spinoff, and fans are already anticipating if the new reality show will tackle the sex molestation scandal involving brother Josh.

TLC executive vice president Nancy Daniels told AP, per Radar Online, that the spinoff will deal with Jessa Duggar while she gets ready for her first child.

"And we'll be watching Jill preparing to make a major move to Central America with her family, which we know is something our audience will be interested in," she said.

"We know that our audience is really excited about what's been going on with Jill and Jessa as they move into young adulthood," Nancy Daniels added.

"And now they're both at the precipice of big changes. With what was happening in their lives in the next few months, it felt like now is the time (for the specials), and we got going pretty quickly."

The TLC exec also hinted that Jessa and Jill Duggar might tackle at some point in their reality show the sex molestation scandal involving their brother, Josh.

She explained, "They thought it was an important issue, and they showed an incredible amount of courage in sharing their story. We were struck by that courage, and by how they are moving forward. Our audience continues to be engaged with what's going on in their lives."

But will Josh Duggar, perhaps the most notorious in the family in the aftermath of the sex scandal and the Ashley Madison controversy, make an appearance in the "19 Kids and Counting" spinoff?

At this point, it's highly unlikely considering that Josh Duggar has made himself scarce since the scandals were exposed to the public. There's also the fact that TLC cancelled "19 Kids and Counting" as a result of the sex molestation charges.

"There's no doubt it's been a tough few months on the family, and we've obviously been in close contact with them as they've been going through it," Daniels added.
