Bon Jovi New Album 2016: Matt O’Ree Officially Named As Band’s New Guitarist!

Finally, the search for the new lead guitarist is over as Bon Jovi officially names Matt O'Ree as their new guitarist!

According to the website, Noise 11, Matt O'Ree will replace touring member Bobby Bandiera. Phil X will remain with the band as both he and O'Ree will do the Bon Jovi new album 2016. Phil X was the guitarist of the recently released album of Bon Jovi, "Burning Bridges," which is also a parting shot against their former label, Mercury Records.

"[It fulfills] a commitment to Mercury Records," Jon Bon Jovi explained to Billboard. "After 32 years, we have parted ways. That is the big news. If you listen to 'Burning Bridges,' the song, it is clearly spelled out."

Meanwhile, keyboardist David Bryan confirmed that they will tour next year once the album is out.

"We always do album/tour. We put out an album ['What About Now'] in 2013 and toured all 2013 - 102 shows to 3 million people." Bryan told Philly.com. "We're back in the studio and we'll have an album out next year. That's our cycle."
