Christina Aguilera Coaching Break Ruined By Manager's Vegas Remark? ‘Damage Control’ Underway?

Christian Aguilera is purportedly over the glamour and popularity she enjoyed in her younger days. Recent reports revealed that "Beautiful" singer was content with her laid back career and "The Voice" although she was currently on a coaching break.

In an item on the National Enquirer, a source revealed that the "Beautiful singer" doesn't mind not being in Las Vegas right now where music hotshots like Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey and even rumored rival Britney Spears were currently having a blast. She even seemed content with the current setup of her career.

"I don't have to spend three nights a week reliving the past," the singer reportedly said according to the source above. "I'd get more fans doing a season of 'The Voice!'"

"Christina will have to do some damage control, but she's not mad at Irving," the source apparently revealed.

The "Beautiful" singer even apparently called the latest Las Vegas resident performers including Britney Spears "an oldies act." No word yet from the singer's camp if her rumored statements were true.

During an interview with DJ Pauly D last month as reported by VH1, Irving Azoff insisted that Christina Aguilera was at the "prime of her career." He also said that the singer, who will be back on coaching "The Voice" next season, has not "peaked" yet like Britney Spears, Shania Twain and Lopez.

The singers mentioned on Irving Azoff's comment about Las Vegas has yet to address the issue. Britney Spears though has expressed her excitement on having her contract there extended to two years despite Irving Azoff's statements.

Aguilera, meanwhile, has been busy despite her break from "The Voice." Last week, she went to her father's homeland of Ecuador to extend help to the less fortunate. She's also sharing her expertise on singing on MasterClass.

"I'm excited MasterClass has given me the opportunity to truly share all I have learned about my craft with the world," Christina Aguilera previously said in a statement as quoted by Billboard. "Coaching in this capacity not only gives me a chance to connect with my fans but lets me explore one of my true passions."
