CNBLUE, GOT7 Join Headliners From China And Japan For One Asia Mega Concert

The music capital of South Korea played host to music stars from around Asia as they came together for an evening of incredible music in the heart of Seoul.

Held in front of Seoul City Hall this past Tuesday, the One Asia Seoul Mega Concert filled the Seoul Plaza with music from some of Asia's favorite artists.

Popular K-Pop groups CNBLUE and GOT7 took the stage alongside fellow K-Pop star, Ailee, Chinese music producer and singer, Reno Wang, veteran Japanese singer Ayumi Nakamura, and Philippine idol singer Julie Anne San Jose.

T-ara's Jiyeon was joined by VIXX's Hongbin and Super Junior M's Zhoumi as the hosts of the evening as SBS MTV's music program, The Show, was broadcast during the evening's concert.

The One Asia Seoul Mega Concert was free to attend and an exclusive 10,000 seat "foreigners only" area was set up to allow foreign guests to better immerse themselves in the Hallyu wave.

According to Seoul's city government, the concert was seen as a great opportunity to help the city's tourism sector recover after being hit hard by the outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) earlier this year. From the plethora of fancam video posted on YouTube, it seems the One Asia Seoul Mega Concert was a huge success.
