Ireland Baldwin enlisted her famous father Alec Baldwin to debunk the latest gossip about dating the ex husband of Olivia Wilde. Let's hope that Alec Baldwin doesn't blow the fuse on this one and make a New York Magazine article about it.

When the press got crazy over the fact that the 19-year-old Ireland Baldwin was getting cozy with Olivia Wilde's ex husband, she promptly called on her father to put a humorous spin on it.

The model screen captured a set of hilarious text exchanges that she had with Alec Baldwin and posted it on her Instagram.

At one point, her father asks her, "Am I going to be a grandfather?"

Months have passed since Ireland Baldwin was caught in the middle of her then girlfriend Angel Haze and her seemingly homophobic father Alec Baldwin. But it looks like the father and daughter have patched their relationship back up when they appeared on Instagram together.

While Alec Baldwin said something that were inappropriate, considering that his daughter is homosexual, he must have been super supportive towards her healing process when she broke up with Angel Haze.

According to Daily Mail, Ireland is really in a good place right now, having gone through some treatment post split with the rapper. "The runway model was spotted on Thursday night going hell for leather at a Timberland event in NYC. The 19-year-old looked every inch the globe trotting fashionista as she posed for sultry snaps at the boot brand's soiree."

Their breakup was a highly public affair with paparazzi flying all over them, spurred on by the slurs that Alec Baldwin provided.

According to Mirror.co.uk, "The couple had been dating for number of months before they split earlier this year around the time the 19-year-old model checked herself into rehab for "emotional trauma"."

The rapper Angel Haze spoke up about their breakup, making their split somewhat clearer. She told NME magazine, "I don't like relationships with f***ing other people who are in this industry. It's invasive. Like, the way that people treat us. Especially women."

Looks like Hollywood and paparazzi got in the way of their true love. And leave it up to them to take her first meeting with the ex husband of Olivia Wilde out of proportion.
