The Corrs New Album And Tour To Happen Soon; Bono Revealed He Has A First Look At A New Song

The Corrs are back in the scene with a new album and even announced a tour to promote the record in the future.

The upcoming record, according to Malton Mercury, would be their first release in 10 years after the group came up with their 2005 disc "Home."

In between that 10 years of being idle musically, Sharon Corr revealed in an interview how many things have changed for the group including the fact that they had eight children between them.

"We never sort of decided to stop or quit as a band," Sharon Corr said. "We've had eight children between us in the mean time so that kind of takes up 10 years so I think we were sort of entitled to it after sort of 15 years of being on the road."

"But music is part of the fabric of us. It is absolutely who we are. This is what we do, so it's not really a revelation from that point of view if you know what I mean. This is what we do so we're just doing it."

In relation to the new album from The Corrs, U2 singer Bono recently admitted that he has previewed a song from the group, he told Irish Times.

In an interview, Bono claimed to have been working on a song named "Ellis Island" with Johnny Cash, which seem like it didn't push through.

He however claimed that he already has listened to a song from the new The Corrs album with the same title and revealed how good the song was.

"The song was called Ellis Island, and I had forgotten that we started this song," Bono recalled while hinting about the song from The Corrs.

"What was really bizarre about the coincidence was that day I had just heard a song called Ellis Island from The Corrs' new album. They just played it for me. It is a really, really special song."
