‘Heroic Legend Of Arslan’ Season 2 Confirmed For 2016! Arslan's Parents To Be Introduced Next?

Finally, "Heroic Legend of Arslan" season 2 is now confirmed and fans can expect more action-packed battles between soldiers of Par and Lusitania.

According to Anime News Network, the confirmation of "Heroic Legend of Arslan" season 2 was announced during the "Yashasiin!! Carnival" event. It was revealed in a form of a teaser trailer confirming that it will be released next year. Watch the video below.

It was almost expected that the anime will be getting a season 2 as there are still plenty of conflicts left unresolved. The kingdom of Par remains at the hands of the Lusitanian forces while the mission assigned to Gieve is yet to be revealed. Most importantly, the biggest question is yet to be answered, who is Arslan's parents?

The first TV anime adaptation of the popular manga was aired on April 5 and it went on for 25 episodes. Here's a brief synopsis of the anime courtesy of Funimation.

"In the kingdom of Pars lies the Royal Capital of Ecbatana, a powerful city ruled by the fearsome King Andragoras. Arslan, the 14-year-old prince of Pars, is a green ruler and lacks the fierce leadership skills possessed by his father."

"After his father falls victim to a treacherous plot headed by one of his most trusted comrades, the kingdom of Pars falls in the war with the neighboring nation of Lusitania. Narrowly escaping with his life, Arslan must embark on a journey to reclaim the fallen kingdom and fulfill his destiny as ruler of Pars."

As for "Heroic Legend of Arslan" season 2 release date, When-will.net suggests that "Heroic Legend of Arslan" season 2 might come out winter 2016.
