Suzy Bae Finds New Interest In Tranditional Korean Pansori Music With 'The Hymn' Role

In her "To Rome With Love, Me" cover pictorial for the October issue of Elle, miss A singer and actress Suzy Bae talked about her newest film project, The Hymn

The 21-year-old it-girl starred in "To Rome With Love, Me" for the October issue of Elle. The beauty modeled stunning creations from Valentino's Fall RTW collection in an old castle by the Roman countryside. Her princess-like wardrobe included shimmering gowns and lace dresses that alternated between Grecian draping and '70s monochromatic patterns. The pictorial was taken to celebrate Suzy's attendance at the brand's Haute Couture Fall 2015 runway show and her 21st birthday.

During the interview, the popular teen idol talked about the burden she felt after the success of her debut film, Architecture 101.

"Once, I was worried and thought carefully about what I wanted and how to show it to people. Then, I took quite a long time to select my next work," she said. "I'm usually attracted to characters who do not have an attractive appeal. I sympathize with characters that feel, think and look the opposite of me."

For her upcoming film The Hymn, Suzy plays a young woman who is taught pansori (Korean traditional musical storytelling). Recounting the experience, she expressed, "I pray to learn more about pansori and was impressed for weeks [on set]. Many of the actors who were in this film became interested in traditional music like me."

In other fashion news, Suzy recently posed for Bean Pole Accessory's 2015 Fall/Winter lookbook.
