JYJ's Junsu Releases Tragic 'Yesterday' Music Video Teaser

JYJ's Kim "XIA" Junsu is returning for the fall season with a brand new solo release.

The singer and musical actor is gearing up for his newest EP and single "Yesterday," which are scheduled to drop Oct. 19.

Junsu is known for breaking the norm in his music videos, past examples being his hauntingly intoxicating "Tarantallegra" and his majestically powerful music video for "Flower." In fact, Junsu even stated in his ‘Ask in a Box’ interview that he hated being normal. “Yesterday” appears to be no exception to this rule.

After gracing us with an image teaser earlier this month, the singer has now dropped an eerie video teaser to accompany it. The teaser features dark themes and tragic elements such as a plane crash, destroyed buildings, dead roses and more. The theme almost seems post-apocalyptic with XIA and only a couple of other individuals being the survivors. However, there also seems to be hope as the teaser shows the new light of day approaching over the horizon.

Check it out below!

Junsu will release his new EP on Oct. 19 following the full music video for “Yesterday."

The star also shared that the new EP will have a different feel from his previous releases, but will nonetheless have fans coming back for more.

In addition, Junsu plans to hold his "2015 XIA 4th Asia Tour Concert in Seoul" in support of the album. Tickets for the Seoul concert were completely sold out within the first ten minutes.
