AOA Drops Debut Japanese Album ‘Ace of Angels’ Including 3 Brand New Songs

K-Pop girl group AOA released their first full-length Japanese album titled Ace of Angels on October 14, reports The Korea Times.

The debut album contains 11 tracks, consisting of eight Japanese version songs of previously released AOA songs like "Heart Attack" and "Miniskirt," as well as three new tracks, "Oh Boy" (title track), "Lemonslush" and "Stay With Me."

The first limited edition has been reported to come with a DVD and desk calendar.

The DVD contains seven clips, including AOA music videos, jacket film making scenes, and AOA log-in cuts.

Prior to the full-length album release, AOA had released three singles in Japan: "Miniskirt," "Like A Cat," and "Heart Attack."

Notably, all three singles were songs previously promoted in Korea and earned the group music show awards.

AOA's Japanese album release follows their growing popularity in that overseas market.

When the group released their first single, "Miniskirt" back in 2014, it broke the Top 10 of Japanes charts. The group held their Japanese fan club opening ceremony only 10 months after their official debut in the country. Their latest single, "Heart Atack," was reported to have topped the Tower Records chart. AOA's appeal seems to stem from their cute and sexy image, and it also helps that members can speak Japanese which helps them interact with fans.
