TVXQ Changmin Wins Rookie Award at 'Japan Movie Critics Awards'

TVXQ member Changmin has been chosen to receive the 'Rookie Award' at the 'Japan Movie Critics Awards'.

They revealed that Changmin would take this award for his appearance in the Japan movie, 'Run with the Gold" in which he played the character of Momo.

Changmin's first Japan movie role, "Fly with the Gold" is originally a crime novel written by Takamura Kaoru. The main plot of the story is that there are 6 men that try to steal a gold bullion that is hidden underground in Osaka. The movie features other famous Japan movie stars such as Tsumabuki Satoshi and more.

The movie released last year in November.

Changmin also won the rookie award at the Japanese Academy Awards this past March for the same movie as well. 

It seems that Changmin's acting has caught the eyes of many in the film industry.

The winners for the awards are chosen by the critics themselves. This ceremony will be held in Japan on May 2.

Changmin is also currently the MC for the KBS show, "Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education" along with MC Kang Ho Dong.

He debuted in the group TVXQ under SM Entertainment and has become one of the leading K-Pop idol groups around the world.

He recently debuted as an actor in Japan with the movie, "Run with the Gold" and has won many awards and received positive responses from both fans and critics.

Changmin first made his acting debut in 2009 through a drama title, "Paradise Meadow."
