'Sword Art Online' Season 3 Release Date Set This December 2015? Meet Eugeo And Alice Schuberg!

Fans are looking forward to "Sword Art Online" season 3 as there are still plenty of adventures that is yet to be told.

SAO producer Shinichiro Kashiwada said in an interview with Anime News Network that fans will indeed see more of Kirito and Azuna and he also gave a teaser of what to expect in the upcoming season.

"Personally, I would like to see the 'Alicization' arc because that's something that hasn't been done," Kashiwada said.

"So there are series like 'Uta no Prince Sama' and 'Love Live!' that sell more, while the sales are very important to me, it's really the desire to make something really important and interesting that fans can look forward to watching," Shinichiro said. "This is what's personally important to me."

Not only that, but fans can expect two more seasons of SAO as season 3 and 4 are as good as confirmed. In a report by Inquisitr, manga creator Reki Kawahara's latest SAO light novel which is the Alicization arc will cover most of the two seasons in development.

This SAO arc will be all about the "Underworld," where civilization and technology is nowhere close compared to the previous arcs, giving it more of a historical feel. The new roles to be played are Eugeo and Alice Schuberg.

As a brief preview on the two characters, Eugeo is a woodcutter who saw how noblemen are corrupting the system, and Alice is a master swordsman.

Meanwhile, When-will.net suggested that a possible release date for "Sword Art Online" season 3 is before this year ends that will continue on until first half of 2016.

"Possible release date of the 'Sword Art Online' Season 3 is end of 2015. There is a possibility that new episodes can come out even later - in the summer of 2016," as stated in the website.
