Crowd Surprised When Macaulay Culkin Sings Beach Boys Song As Special Guest In UK Indie Gig

An indie gig at Bristol UK ended on a high note when 32-year-old Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin turned up as the event’s special guest singer.

The 200-person crowd was surprised and refused to believe at first sight that the disheveled person on stage was the actor and former child star – who last year has been rumored to be addicted to heroin.

“I’ve come all the way from America,” shouted Macaulay Culkin to the fans. He was wearing his beach-blond hair in a ponytail and had dark glasses.

He hugged the headline singer Adam Green at the Thekla venue, on a boat in Bristol, before singing the Beach Boys hit Kokomo.

Thekla spokeswoman Kinza Drewett said of the star, “He just turned up as a surprise guest.”

She said, ““Adam said we’d recognise him from Home Alone, but still nobody believed it.” She continued, “When he got on stage it was surreal at first, then people started realising it was him.”

This is not the first time Macaulay Culkin has performed with Green. He has previously performed with the singer and appeared in his film, The Wrong Ferrari.

He was standing in for the singer’s partner Bink Shapiro who was sick on Wednesday.

The former child actor has earned millions during his acting career, which started when he was four-years-old.

A magazine last year claimed that the frail-looking Culkin was on heroin and painkiller oxycodone after he had split with actress Mila Kunis.

Culkin’s publicist, Michelle Bega, denied the claim and branded it “categorically without merit” and “ridiculously fictitious.”
