Posthumous Album Commemorates Career Of Korean Rock Legend Shin Hae Chul On The Anniversary Of His Death

More details have been released regarding the posthumous album from Shin Hae Chul scheduled to be released on October 27 this year, the first death anniversary of the late Korean rock legend.

KCA Entertainment announced over the weekend that only 3,000 copies of the album will be sold off at www.yes24.com, reports The Korea Times. The albums will bear a special number series starting from 6660001.

Back in August, the posthumous album was confirmed to be titled Real World and will be packed with three previously unreleased tracks, including the eponymous song "Real World" which contained creative inputs from distant relative and legendary pop-rock icon Seo Tae Ji.

Shin Hae Chul passed away after suffering a heart attack on October 27, 2014 and his death has been surrounded with controversy after police found medical negligence on the part of the singer's doctor which reportedly led to complications enabling his death.

The singer's family has since sued the doctor and the Seoul Sky Hospital, which attended to the singer, seeking roughly $1.7 million (2 billion Korean won) in damages for performing what the family claims was unauthorized surgery and also for failing to respond to the singer's reported stomach pains.

With a little more than a week before Shin Hae Chul's 1st death anniversary and his posthumous album releases, it has been reported that Korean music programs such have been and will be running special shows commemorating the rock star's legacy.
