Ellen DeGeneres seemed unaffected by the new reports about her crumbling marriage to Portia de Rossie over the host's alleged refusal to adopt a baby.

Over the weekend, the 57-year-old talk show host was snapped on a lunch date in Fred Segal Mauro Café with long-time pal, Bob Harper.

"The Emmy Award-winning talk show host wore a blue and white checkered plaid top with slim-fitting white pants and kept shaded from the LA heat in tortoise shell shades," Daily Mail said.

Ellen DeGeneres also smiled for the paparazzi when she saw them.

The photograph came on the heels of the rumor that Ellen DeGeneres is having marriage troubles with Portia de Rossi.

"Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are not adopting and insiders are worried this could be just another sign the couple is headed toward divorce," said CDL. "But why aren't Ellen and Portia adopting? The reason probably isn't all that complicated - DeGeneres can be a pretty selfish lady demanding it's her way or the highway - and she doesn't want a baby."

There's also another reason apart from adopting a baby, and that's the full-time gig that Portia de Rossi scored with "Scandal."

"She wants Portia home - little acting jobs here and there are okay - but a full-time acting career for de Rossi has been off the table for years. And during those years Ellen has made promise after promise to Portia that they will start a family," it added.

Of course, Ellen DeGeneres denied all the rumors about her and Portia de Rossi's marriage troubles.

The talk show host said during an interview with Today, "I'm just more flabbergasted by the fact that someone needs to make up a story.

She went on to add, "There's never been a point where we were breaking up or divorcing or fighting. None of these stories are even remotely true."
