'Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter' Set For 2016, Will The Detective Finally Blow His Fuse?

"Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter" is the last installment in the crime thriller franchise.

Sherlock Holmes is an iconic fictional character created by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This character is not only famous in Doyle's literary works but has also been the star of many television series, parodies, films and many more.

"Featuring taut action and investigative work, 'Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter,' is the eight and latest entry in the franchise, will push your abilities to the limit in this one-of-a-kind interactive experience," stated BigBen Interactive in a press release.

Fans won't be left disappointed as the game has five thrilling and confounding cases to solve, an expansive playable terrain, fast paced action sequences that are both challenging and exciting, a unique blend of game mechanics that lead to unpredictable gameplay and awesome graphics that transport you back into Victorian London.

This will also be the first time that Sherlock Holmes' ruthless logic will get overwhelmed by so many things, revenge, emotions and family, and perhaps lead to more unpredictable adventures.

"Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter" is the last episode to the "Sherlock Holmes" game franchise and is set for a 2016 Spring release. It is the eigth "Sherlock Holmes" game released since 2002 following the 2014 "Crimes and Punishments" game release.

The game will be made available for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

For those who want to get a first glimpse of the game, it will be exclusively shown at the Paris Games Week from Oct. 28 to Nov. 1, as reported by Playstation Lifestyle.
