Girls' Day Management Reveals Official Statement, 'Sorry to Fans'

The management company of Girls' Day has offered a word of apology to Girl's Day fans regarding the recent news of Hyeri's romance with former H.O.T. member, Tony An.

Dream Entertainment announced via Twitter today that they are "truly sorry for all our fans for the stress and trouble we caused regarding the news about Hyeri." They added, "After confirming with Hyeri, she and Tony had been acquaintances for a while. She was asked out in March, soon after the comeback of Girl's Day, and after careful consideration went on a few dates and spent time together."

"Also", they continued, "Hyeri is under a tremendous amount of stress with the news going out on public. We would greatly appreciate it if you could refrain from making up rumors or throwing out wild speculations. Once again, we apologize for the trouble we have caused."

On April 15, the news about the couple with a 16-year age gap heated the Internet, opening up the floodgates of baseless rumors.
