JYJ's Jaejoong Pauses While Singing National Anthem At Korean Series [VIDEO]

Private First Class Kim Jaejoong, known to K-pop fans as JYJ's Jaejoong, performed the South Korean national anthem at the first game of the 2015 KBO Korean Series.

While performing the national anthem at the KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) game, Kim Jaejoong appeared in his army uniform. Kim is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service in the South Korean army.

During the performance, Kim appeared nervous about singing the national anthem at the Korean Series' opening game and made a slight mistake while singing the lyrics.

After pausing for a moment, Kim continued the performance and finished the South Korean national anthem.

Kim debuted under SM Entertainment as a member of the iconic K-pop band TVXQ until his departure from the group in 2009 during a contract nullification lawsuit.

In 2010, Kim and two other former members of TVXQ began promoting as a new act, JYJ.

Along with being a singer, Kim is a popular actor in South Korea and has appeared in several Korean dramas.

Kim Jaejoong enlisted in the South Korean military on March 31 and will serve as an active duty soldier for nearly two years to fulfill his mandatory military service requirement.
