Zico Praises IU's Skills As A Songwriter

Block B's Zico starred in "He's So Fly" for the October issue of L'officiel Hommes.

The rapper posed with a blonde model and the duo showed couple looks by Calvin Klein Jeans. The wardrobe was surprisingly simple and featured midnight blue blazers, lace-up boots, leather backpacks and caps with the brand's logo.

During the interview, the star was asked about musicians that he's been interested in lately. He stated, "In Korea, it's IU. She has well-written songs and I envy the sensibility she shows that is beyond her age. Overseas, I like will.i.am. There is no doubt about his abilities as a producer."

When the topic switched to personal style, Zico revealed that he prefers a neutral look over flashy ensembles. He explained, "I like the normcore trend [unisex clothes with minimalistic silhouettes and muted colors]. I like to mix and match street brands with high-end brands."

Despite his preference for a casual look, Zico admitted that he becomes bored with his appearance easily and that's why he changes his hairstyle a lot. He tends to dye his hair "on a whim" and his favorite color so far has been an ashy blonde close to gray.

In other fashion news, Zico recently suited up for The Celebrity. Then, he looked ready to go skiing in the November issue of Arena Homm+.
