Has Psy proven he is not a one-hit wonder?

The follow-up to the internationally popular "Gangnam Style" is already smashing records, just days after its release, proving that the Korean singer-rapper has plenty more tricks up his sleeve.

Now, in just over three days, Psy has had his latest single topple over the 100 million mark (at the time of publishing it was 101,355,837).

To put this incredible achievement into perspective, "Gangnam Style" was released on July 15 of last year and it was not until September 4 that it surpassed the 100 million mark. It is currently at well over 1.5 billion views and many analysts believe "Gentleman" has the ability to rival even that record.

Psy's "Gentleman" also nearly doubled Justin Bieber's record for the video with the most YouTube views on the first day of its release. Bieber held the previous record of 10.6 million in the initial 24 hours with "Beauty and the Beat" featuring Nicki Minaj, but "Gentleman" hit 18.9 million in the first day.

Only time will tell for sure if the new single "Gentleman" will be able to match its predecessor, but so far so good.
