T-ARA's Qri became a beauty correspondent for the November issue of InStyle. The idol participated in the "Real Self Makeover" segment and did her own makeup, which followed a royal blue theme. According to the magazine, "Stars have the same sophisticated techniques as makeup artists and are challenged with doing their own makeup. Blue, red and gold color girls show real self makeovers." Qri decided to share her savvy tips with readers for the first color.

During her interview, Qri revealed when she first began experimenting with different makeup techniques. She stated, "I learned through experience. Before my debut, I knew a lot about makeup from my time as a model. I always like challenging myself and try different things when I'm bored."
