George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin just got a new baby as they continue to build their growing family.

As reported by Us Weekly, the power couple adopted a rescue dog named Millie from the San Gabriel Humane Society in California. Millie is their second rescue dog adoption after their first pet, Louie.

According to the website of the shelter, Millie the basset hound experienced some tough time before she got adopted by the Clooneys.

"Millie was found without a home and hoping for food scraps outside of a local restaurant in San Gabriel earlier this month," the shelter said in a statement about the new baby of the Clooneys. "Today her luck changed for the better when she was adopted by George and Amal Clooney."

The shelter even shared a picture of the couple with Millie and Louie looking like one big happy family.

"It was good news that Millie and Louie hit it off and the happy, new family headed home together!" the shelter wrote.  "We hope Millie will stay in touch and send photos. Congratulations to the Clooney family and thank you for adopting!"

While the Clooney family may be growing with their latest canine adoption, fans were still awaiting for the couple's first child. Just last month, OK! magazine mentioned that the pair reportedly has been planning for a baby.

"They plan to have a baby within the next year," an insider told Life & Style as cited by the source above.

With no baby just yet for George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin, they seemingly continue to enjoy their wedded bliss. They celebrated their first wedding anniversary last month and the "Ocean's Eleven" actor gushed about their relationship.

"We sure are having fun," the actor shared to People magazine. "We had a beautiful anniversary, and we're having fun."

In a report on CNN last year, it was mentioned that the Clooneys got married in Venice, Italy on Sept. 27.
