LeAnn Rimes Denies Eating Disorder Rumors And Talks About Her Stint in Rehab, Says “My Heart Was Breaking”

Country music superstar LeAnn Rimes denies rumors that she checked into rehab to deal with an eating disorder. Rimes said she spent 30-days in rehab to deal with "stress and anxiety." LeAnn Rimes has had a tough four years. Her public affair with Eddie Cibrian, at the time married to Brandi Glanville, and subsequent divorce from her husband was splashed all over tabloid headlines.

LeAnn Rimes denied the rumors claiming she was anorexic in a recent interview with the UK's Daily Mail. Rimes said she checked into rehab to deal with the stress of her public relationship, as well as the media and fan backlash from her affair.

The resulting stress caused Rimes to drop some weight. The "Can't fight the Moonlight" singer denies ever being anorexic.

"People said I was anorexic," LeAnn told the Daily Mail. But I didn't have a problem with eating as I ate a ton all the time - I could eat my husband under the table! But I was going through a time when I just wasn't sleeping - my mind wouldn't shut off and my heart was breaking."

Rimes first met her now husband Eddie Cibrian in 2009 while they were filming Northern Lights. The pair began an affair while Rimes was married to dancer Dean Sheremet and Cibrian was still married to Brandi Glanville of Real House Wives of Beverly Hills.

The affair went public and resulted in divorces for the couples. LeAnn Rimes got a lot of negative press and was called a home wrecker for breaking up a couple with two children.

"It's definitely been a turbulent four years, and to say I've been on several rollercoasters is an understatement," the 30-year-old singer said.

LeAnn says she had to check into rehab to over come the stress in her life. She and the mother of her husband's children had been feuding back and forth via Twitter.

In an interview, Brandi Glanville accused LeAnn Rimes of taunting her with her new marriage. Rimes claims that Galnville's children even call her mom.

In an interview with Glamour, Brandi Glanville opened up about her divorce and feud with Rimes. Glanville admitted Rimes never apologized for the heartache she caused and often taunts Brandi with hurtful texts and tweets.

"One way I hear from LeAnn is she'll text me-hurtful things like, 'I can't wait to make your kids' lunches and go to soccer," Glanville told Glamour.

Glanville went on to say, "I've never found LeAnn to be remorseful. I found her to be like, 'Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah, I got your family."

Glanville even came out with a book about her divorce and battle with Rimes titled, "Drinking and Tweeting." The book is a memoire about her divorce and the aftermath.

After getting a lot of criticism via social media, LeAnn Rimes said she was seriously thinking about keeping off sites like Twitter.

"I did stop [tweeting] for a while but then I was like: "Screw this! I don't want to stop communicating with my real fans". The block button's a great thing - if you talk crap to me, I'll just block you!"

Rimes 30-day rehab stint seems to have done her well. She told the Daily Mail in her interview that she feels comfortable in her own skin. She praised her husband for being the kind of man who always tells her she is beautiful.

"Now I'm secure about my body, although I'm like any other woman and have my moments of self doubt. But it's nice to have a husband who tells you you're beautiful all the time. I'll say to him: "I've gained a few pounds" and he'll say: "Good! It just gives you another level of confidence," Rimes said.
