In Japan, the most recent episode of the new Pokemon "XY & Z" anime has just premiered, and now fans can watch it online.

In this Pokemon "XY & Z" episode, Serena encounters a wild Quilladin who appears infatuated with Eevee. However, Eevee has a different reaction to Quilladin's advances, which causes it to try even harder. Will Quilladin succeed?

But this is not the only big Pokemon news this week.

Recently, the November Nintendo Direct introduced several new features for the Pokemon franchise, including the introduction of an amiibo based on Shadow Mewtwo for "Pokken Tournament."

Unlike the previous series of amiibos, Shadow Mewtwo comes in the form of a card, and is a special offer in conjunction with retail copies of the first print run of "Pokken Tournament" for Nintendo Wii U.

"When scanned into the game after reaching a certain point, you will gain access to the playable character of Shadow Mewtwo, a Mewtwo that is different to standard Mewtwo," says Serebii. "This unlocks Shadow Mewtwo immediately rather than through gameplay."

As previously reported, "Pokken Tournament" will be available in Japan on March 18, 2016. A release date for Europe and North America have yet to be determined.
