During the first few days upon the official release of the music video, the exponential increase of the view count was expected due to its novelty. Many were waiting to see whether the trend will continue its course or fizzle out after enough people have seen enough of it.

Well, it definitely has not slowed since then and this one is yet another world record on YouTube: 9 days to reach 200 million hits.

Psy will begin his promotional tour in the United States starting April 25. It has been reported that he is scheduled to make numerous TV appearances on major networks.
