Psy's 'Gentleman' Hits 200 Million YouTube Views in 9 Days

Psy's music video of "Gentleman" has reached 200 million YouTube hits on April 22.

It took the video four days to get to 100 million view counts, and just another five to pass 200 million hits.

There are over 780,000 comments and 1.6 million likes on the video.

During the first few days upon the official release of the music video, the exponential increase of the view count was expected due to its novelty. Many were waiting to see whether the trend will continue its course or fizzle out after enough people have seen enough of it.

Well, it definitely has not slowed since then and this one is yet another world record on YouTube: 9 days to reach 200 million hits.

Psy will begin his promotional tour in the United States starting April 25. It has been reported that he is scheduled to make numerous TV appearances on major networks.
