SM Entertainment announced their plans for 2012 global audition to take place in five different countries this year.

The label that produced artists such as BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls Generation, SHINee, and f(x) are now looking for the next global star. Some of them also were discovered through SM Global Auditions.

The audition is in various categories such as singer, actor/actress, model, dancer, songwriter and lyricist. There is no application fee and welcomes any who wants to participate.

The audition will be held in Korea first and then take places in different countries throughout Asia, Canada and US from February 18 to March 18.

The auditions dates and locations are as follows:

February 18: New York, New York

February 20: Chicago, Illinois

February 26: San Francisco, California

March 3: Los Angeles, California
