Year after year, fans around the globe tune into the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) to watch the performances and collaborations.

This year, MAMA kicked off the show with a collaboration between two of the most popular K-pop boy bands. GOT7 and BTS battled it out with dances and then moved into their individual performances.

Shortly after the MAMA ceremony kicked off in Hong Kong with Taeyeon singing "I," GOT7 and BTS took the stage.

The epic dance battle began with Jackson and Rap Monster going head to head before the members of both groups joined the pair for some perfectly synchronized moves.

GOT7 then took the stage and gave us an epic performance of their latest song, "If You Do."

BTS rounded out the collaboration stage with the debut broadcast performance of their latest song "Run." In greaser-inspired fashion, suspenders and all, BTS started the night off right for the numerous performances that were yet to come.
