Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello continue to be teased about their closeness despite directly denying that they are dating.

In a report on Seventeen, it was mentioned that the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" pair "might be falling in love" right in front of the public as even with the constant claim that they're just friends, they continue to show the world how very close they are almost to the point of looking like a couple at times.

The Fifth Harmony member and the "Stitches" singer also can't seem to be away from each other lately. During the Jingle Ball tour in Texas, Cabello made a surprise appearance while Mendes was onstage. They performed "I Know What You Did Last Summer" to the delight of their fans.

Just last week they were also put on the spot by James Corden during their appearance on "The Late Late Show" amid their continued denial about the chemistry between them. Apart from dispelling rumors they're dating, the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" singers accused one another of friend zoning each other.

"It sound to me like you might you might both love each other," James Corden teased.

"There's no way you two haven't made out," "The Late Late Show" host pressed further.

This not the first time that Camila Cabello has been teased about Shawn Mendes. When she was interviewed on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" along with the rest of Fifth Harmony, she also got grilled and teased after denying the dating rumors.

"Were super, super close friends," she told Ryan Seacrest about the "Stitches" singer. "He's such an amazing guy."

Rumors about Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello first got rampant in September. But even back then, insiders told People magazine they only have a platonic relationship. Recently, the Fifth Harmony member also told Fuse that she considered the "Stitches" singer her best friend.
