No glimpse of Kit Harington was shown in the latest "Game of Thrones" season 6 footage. But Emilia Clarke, who has pointed out previously that his Jon Snow character was dead, had a moment in the new clip.

As told by Bustle, the new clip teased a lot about the upcoming season but not Jon Snow's fate.

In the 2015 HBO year-ender video, a shot of the Jon Snow actor was presented at the beginning to highlight the past months but when clips for the new season of HBO shows entered the screen, he was no longer in sight.

Instead, as reported by Us Weekly, the clip featured Daenerys Targaryen in a "new location," Cersei Lannister sporting a new do and hugging her last living child and Ramsay Bolton raring for a fight.

"Game of Thrones" showrunners have insisted prior to the release of season 6 teasers that Kit Harington's character was dead. Even Emilia Clarke seemingly was right when she said the actor may just be trolling snoops whenever he's pictured on the set of the show.

"And isn't he dead?" she told Entertainment Tonight in October.

"I think that he loves us, I think that he misses us, and I think that we like to mess with those people who are snooping around our set, trying to get information that they don't really want to know," she added

Fans of the HBO show though hoped she was wrong after the release of a teaser poster that featured Jon Snow all bloodied up and a teaser trailer that also showed the character's death scene. But in an interview with IGN, Kit Harington reaffirmed Emilia Clarke's words that he's dead.

"And I am most definitely dead, so it's a simple one to answer, really," he told the source above. "I don't know, I love that show and I love that it's done what it's done, and it will follow me a lot longer than just this year. I can't fight against that."
