During a recent TV appearance, miss A's Fei teared up as she revealed the hardships she had to overcome before becoming a star in Korea 

Fei (Wang Feifei), who is originally from Haikou, China, appeared as one of the special guests for the the Dec. 10 episode of the KBS2 talk show "Happy Together 3." 

One of the MCs asked, "We heard that you had a really hard time after going into JYP Entertainment. What happened?" and Fei replied, "I had a really long training month. There were only Jia and me left in the end. I wasn't happy."

She continued, "But the really hard time for me was before coming to Korea. My family was struggling financially a lot. I wasn't happy when I was home. I would perform with my friends and earn about $20 a day, and live off of that."

And as she thought back to these times while talking about it, Fei burst into tears, breaking the hearts of the viewers and her fans.
