The battle of the most reblogged K-pop artist on Tumblr this year turned into a boy band brawl, and BTS came out on top.

BTS took first place while two SM Entertainment boy groups, EXO and SHINee, settled for second and third place finishes.

K-pop boy bands were a hot reblogging topic on Tumblr among Tumblr users this year with SEVENTEEN (4th), GOT7 (5th), VIXX (6th) and Big Bang (7th) rounding out the upper third tier of the Top 20 rankings.

The most reblogged K-Pop girl group on Tumblr was Girls' Generation (8th) followed by their sister SM groups, f(x) (9th) and Red Velvet (10th).

In total, there were 13 boy groups and only 7 girl groups in the Top 20, and there was a mix of new and old groups, but it is notable that no solo artist made the cut.
