The godfather of Korean soul Bobby Kim will put his own spin on the 2013 hit song from iconic rock star Cho Yong Pil.

From Dec. 25 to Dec. 27, Bobby Kim will be holding a small performance series at the Sumwoo Center concert hall in Seoul's Gangnam area. During the concert, fans can anticipate a reworking of "Bounce," legendary singer Cho Yong Pil's surprise smash hit of 2013.

"Bounce" is off Cho's 19th album Hello, and was one of the best selling singles in South Korea in 2013. For his upcoming concert series, Bobby Kim, known to many fans as the godfather of Korean soul, will include a re-worked version of the song, adding in his own unique style and flare.

Previously, Bobby Kim was in the 7th round of the MBC reality show I am a Singer in October 2011 during the "Cho Yong Pil Special" and was given great reviews for his rearrangement of  "Trek into the Past." During the broadcast, Cho Yong Pil said to Bobby Kim, "Go forth with your own personality," encouraging him to explore his own interpretations of the music.
