"Twilight" actress Nikki Reed declared over social media how much she loved and appreciated husband Ian Somerhalder amid rumors that they were fighting about starting a family soon.

As posted on her Instagram account, the Rosalie Hale actress shared a picture of the words "I love you" with some birds and grass with the date Dec. 8, representing the "The Vampire Diaries" actor's birthday. At the same time, she gushed over about her husband.

"You are my every dream brought to life," she wrote in the caption. "With our hands pressed together I know that we will always find our way home. You are a gift to this world, a teacher of light and a student of love."

"Here is to the next 65 years together, holding hands, strolling through the woods, still learning, still listening," she continued. "Happy happy birthday...I love you."

While some loved the "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed's message to her husband Ian Somerhalder, there were still some who expressed their preference to Nina Dobrev.

According to the Inquisitr, meanwhile, the post may just reportedly be a way to divert the attention from the rumors that Reed and "The Vampire Diaries" actor's marriage has gotten sour.

The Rosalie Hale actress and the Damon Salvatore actor only got married last April in an intimate ceremony in Malibu, California as told by Entertainment Tonight. But just months after the fairytale wedding, rumors already began swirling that they were headed for divorce.

Gossip Cop even cited a report from OK! magazine at the time saying that the newlyweds were arguing because the "The Vampire Diaries" actor apparently wanted to start building their family now while Reed wanted to focus first on her career.

Last month though, Ian Somerhalder himself indirectly dispelled trouble in paradise by gushing about his wife, "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed.

"The most incredible, it's unbelievable, having an incredible partner to go through this life with is what it's about," "The Vampire Diaries actor" told WGNO about marriage. "From my perspective, I said, 'next to every great man is an even better woman.' I stand by that and I'm so thankful to have that in my life."
