4Minute Team Up With American DJ Skrillex For 2016 Album

Korean girl group 4Minute will be making their return with a new album in early 2016, and have enlisted help from overseas.

The five member K-pop act will be working with internationally famous DJ and producer Skrillex (real name Sonny John Moore) for their upcoming album.

According to an entertainment industry insider, 4Minute met with Skrillex at the CUBE Entertainment studio recently. While there, 4Minute, Skrillex, and other Cube composers gathered together for a "song camp," where they composed music together in preparation of their upcoming album, which is tentatively scheduled for release in early 2016.

4Minute will be the first CUBE artist to have a comeback next year.

There is a high chance that some of Skrillex's work could be included among the songs on the album.

On Dec. 19, the 4Minute members uploaded multiple photos of themselves posing with Skrillex on their official Instagram accounts. Skrillex uploaded photos and a video of the 4Minute members on his Instagram as well.

Skrillex is a California-based electronic music DJ and producer who has previous experience in the K-pop industry, having worked with YG Entertainment artists G-Dragon and CL for the single "Dirty Vibe."
