JYJ's Kim Junsu Gets Ready To Hit The Stage Once Again As 'Dracula' In Latest Musical Production

JYJ's Kim Junsu, who also goes by the stage name Xia, is ready to return to the stage.

The singer posed for the January issue of The Musical in order to promote his upcoming play. The simple photoshoot had a grunge inspired wardrobe that only used black, white and red. The star looked young in loose tank tops and ripped jeans. In the photos, Junsu played with roses and laid on top of strips of wrapping paper.

During the interview, Junsu talked about his upcoming musical Dracula. The play is based on the novel by Irish writer Bram Stoker and follows the famous vampire as he mourns his dead lover for a thousand years.

Junsu revealed, "All the characters in the musical have various charms, and great musical numbers are placed throughout the show for a perfect show. I'll become a Dracula that has depth."

The highly anticipated production is off to an amazing start before the first curtain call! Approximately 32,000 seats belonging to 11 separate shows sold out in only 10 minutes! Dracula will premiere at the Sejong Cultural Central Large Stage on Jan. 23. Junsu will play the titular role for two weeks.

In other fashion news, Junsu recently enjoyed the sunrise in the December issue of @Star1.
