Actor Jang Keun Suk will be the official ambassador for a new art exhibit that opens this week in Seoul.

Jang Keun Suk is the ambassador for Van Gogh Inside: Festival of Light and Music, which is an exhibition about Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh and other impressionist-inspired painters.

"I have been interested in impressionism and van Gogh," said Jang Keun Suk, as reported by the Korea Times. "And the exhibition looked like attracting not just art lovers but the general public, so I decided to join the project."

According to the show's curator Media N Art, the exhibition will open in Seoul from Jan. 8 to April 17, and feature the works and life of van Gogh on a digital screen with music.

After focusing his professional activities overseas in recent years, Jang is back in Korea as a mentor and emcee for Mnet's new music competition show Produce 101.
