For K-pop fans, 2016 has already been full of exciting new releases, and it looks like there is no slowing down some stars.

First off, singer-songwriter "Chart Killer" Crush announced his surprise comeback on January 15. Sharing only a teaser photo on his agency Amoeba Culture's social media pages, Crush announced his return on January 22. Later on it was revealed that his title track, "Don't Forget," was actually previewed for fans at his November 2015 solo concert, according to Korea Herald.

Furthermore, on January 20 it was revealed that Girls' Generation's Taeyeon will also be featured on the track. With Taeyeon's sweet vocals adding to Crush's already well-known style, the two are undoubtedly going to be the pair to beat this January.

Crush and Taeyeon aren't they only collaboration gearing up for the New Year, however.

On January 18, soloist Baek Z Young (who is also known as "Zeyonce," named after the popular American artist Beyoncé) announced her duet with Korean rapper Verbal Jint.

According to Korea Herald, this is Baek Z Young's first musical release in eleven months. Fans can look forward to her new music in February.

Earlier this month fans were surprised to hear the news that Block B's Zico would release a ballad as his next solo. Since Zico is known for his rapping and hip-hop sound, many are curious to see what a solo ballad from him will sound like.

Additionally, many were excited to see Mariko Shinoda featured in his upcoming music video. Mariko Shinoda is a former member of the super popular Japanese girl group ABK48. Shinoda has also helped Zico promote his upcoming solo.

A teaser for Zico's solo, "It was Love," was released on January 18, showing off a gentle and sweet glimpse of the upcoming song. "It was Love" will be released on January 25. Check out the teaser below:

January isn't just the month for soloists and duets, however. Multi-cultural group Cross Gene are set to make their Korean comeback on January 21.

After releasing a series of solo teasers, Cross Gene revealed their full group video teaser on January 18. With a very eclectic set of scenes depicting the boys running through graffiti covered hallways and fighting mysterious masked men, fans are not sure what to expect from the new song. Finally, The Legend is also gearing up for their own return to the music scene. With a funky beat and music video set filled with retro cars and neon lights, The Legend declares their "Crush on You" in their video teaser released on January 17.
