Who's the most popular EXO member on Instagram? That would be Chanyeol with more than 6 million followers to date, beating all his other current and even former band mates.

Chanyeol hit the 6 million follower milestone over the weekend, making him not only the most followed EXO member on Instagram but also one of the most followed K-pop idols on the popular photo-sharing platform.

Chanyeol has a significant lead in followers over Baekhyun who has 5.3 million followers, as well as Sehun (5.3 million) and Lay (3.6 million).

Other current EXO members D.O, Chen and Suho do not have active Instagram accounts, while Xiumin and Kai deleted their profiles last year.

Chanyeol even outshines former EXO members Tao (4.1 million), Luhan (4.5 million) and Kris (3.4 million) despite the three promoting as solo artists in China, the most populous country in the world.

As further proof of Chanyeol's immense popularity on Instagram, the hashtag #chanyeol has a total of 5.7 million posts with fans also tagging him in many of the photos and videos.

But this same popularity has led to a worrying amount of stalkers hounding Chanyeol. On January 16, the idol even admonished overzealous fans for going too far with their stalking activities after an incident where they tailed Chanyeol as he was traveling and celebrating Kai's 22nd birthday.
