'Servamp' Anime Release Date Confirmed Alongside New Trailer [VIDEO]

The 2016 Winter anime season is in full swing, with most series premiering their fourth or fifth episodes this week. As such, it seems like the perfect time to start looking ahead at the summer 2016 season.

Even if we haven't even gotten a look at the spring lineup yet.

Recently, the official website for the upcoming "Servamp" anime series has confirmed its official release date for July 2016. Alongside the new release date, a new trailer for the series was released. Fans can check out the new "Servamp" anime trailer below.

So far, fans are responding to the new "Servamp" anime trailer with excitement.

"I'm literally screaming. Why can't it be July already," said Jennifer Romero on YouTube.

Other fans are specifically excited because Brains Base is handling the animation production.

"More Brains Base is always welcome," said Pandoraking in an ANN forum.

Brains Base is responsible for anime series like "Baccano," "Dance with Devils," and all four seasons of "Natsume's Book of Friends."

Anime News Network reports that Hideaki Nakano will direct the "Servamp" anime series with series composition by Kenji Konuta. Junko Yamanaka is designing the characters.

For those who are not familiar with "Servamp," it was originally a manga series by Strike Tanaka. The manga series is now being published in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment. The fourth volume of the manga series was released last December.

Seven Seas Entertainment describes the story of the "Servamp" manga series as follows:

"When a stray black cat named Kuro crosses Mahiru Shirota's path, the high school freshman's life will never be the same again. Kuro is, in fact, no ordinary feline, but a servamp: a servant vampire. While Mahiru's personal philosophy is one of non-intervention, he soon becomes embroiled in an ancient, altogether surreal conflict between vampires and humans."
