AOA member Seolhyun has been selected as the new model for contact lens brand Acuvue, less than two weeks after winning the TVCF 2015 Model of the Year award in Korea.

A representative of Acuvue shared their reason for selecting Seolhyun as their brand model.

"With her healthy, natural beauty and elegance, Seolhyun fits our brand image perfectly. That's why we decided to choose her," the Acuvue representative said. "Hopefully Seolhyun will be able to show us a new side of her that will appeal to our customers in an even more attractive way."

Seolhyun will begin advertising activities with the brand this February, starting with print advertisements.

She follows in the footsteps of Jun Ji Hyun and Han Hyo Joo, the mega-popular actresses who were Acuvue's previous models. In fact, Seolhyun is the first girl group member to become a model for Acuvue. 

Seolhyun is expected to continue being one of the top choices for advertisers in 2016.
