Due to recent news surrounding actor Park Bo Gum's religion, the star finally spoke up to clarify rumors of him being a part of a Christian cult. 

Park Bo Gum has attended a "Jesus-centered church" in Seoul ever since he was young, but reports of him actually being in a cult-like sect of Christianity only began recently.

In an interview with Korean media outlet OSEN, Park put the rumors about his faith to rest.

"I am just a regular Christian," he said. "I'm a bit disappointed that my church has gotten the spotlight for this." 

Park Bo Gum then further reiterated that his religion is not anything out of the ordinary.

"I am not part of a cult or a new world order. If I was, I would have left already," the actor explained.

Park then went on to explain that he attends an ordinary church in the Mok-dong neighborhood of Seoul. 

He also commented on how he felt about personal details of his life being shared without his permission, stating, "I think it's unavoidable. I consider it something that all public figures must face, and I am thankful for it."
