China's 'Little Psy' Passes Away From Brain Cancer

Being dianosed with brain stem glioma in August 2014, China's "Little Psy" gave his final breath at the age of 12 on Tuesday, Feb. 9, after fighting the illness for a year and a half.

According to Chinese news reported by Kpop Herald, Jun Min Woo was taken to the hospital the day before his death due to having problems breathing.

Jun and his family moved back to China from Korea after receiving treatment in August 2014 when the brain tumor decreased in size.

It was not until November 2014 where SBS' Curious Story Y shedded some light on Jun's illness to the masses.

However, the family took an unfortunate turn when the tumor started to grow again. Since then, the young talented performer has been receiving treatment in China until his death.

"Little Psy" rose to fame after appearing as the young doppleganger of the global superstar on the Korean variety show Star King and Chinese television show, Chinese Dream Show. On both appearances, Jun performed the global hit "Gangnam Style."
