"Kamisama Hajimemashita" fans rejoice as a new trailer for the third "past arc" OVA is now streaming online. Available to view below, the trailer previews "The God Becomes a Bride" story arc. The "Kamisama Hajimemashita" OVA 3 release date is set for April 20, in a special edition bundle with manga volume 24.

So far, fans in an ANN forum are hoping that the "Kamisama Hajimemashita" OVAs will be released in English outside of Japan.

"I really hope these get dubbed and make it over here somehow. I wouldn't mind them delaying the release of season two if it included these OVAs," said WashuTakahashi.

"The God Becomes a Bride" is the third OVA in a series of four planned "Kamisama Hajimemashita" OVAs. The first episode was bundled with manga volume 22 and released in August 2015. The second episode was bundled with manga volume 23 and released last December.

According to Anime News Network, Akitaro Daichi is returning to direct the OVA with Junko Yamanaka serving as the character designer and chief animation director. Most of the original cast and staff of the anime will return. TMS Entertainment will handle the animation production.

"Kamisama Hajimemashita" (or "Kamisama Kiss" in English) was originally a manga series created by Julietta Suzuki. The story follows Nanami, a girl who is left homeless after her father leaves. Nanami finds a new home at a Shinto shrine as a land God, where she then forms a bond with a fox demon named Tomoe, their partnership sealed with a kiss.

Funimation licensed both anime seasons of "Kamisama Kiss." The company did not license the previous OVA, but perhaps with their recent success of simulcasts, the company will consider releasing the latest OVA series for fans outside of Japan.
