New Lee Hi Album Just Around The Corner

It's no secret that YG Entertainment artists are notorious for long hiatuses, while other labels tend to promote their artists at least once a year.

In this case however, haven't Lee Hi fans waited long enough?

According to reports, Lee Hi may be gearing up for a comeback as early as March. The news comes from "industry insiders," so there's a good chance that her comeback may not be until much later. However, given her previously confirmed progress on her comeback album, it could indeed be close to the truth.

Last month, a YG Entertainment representative provided an update on the status of Lee Hi's comeback.

"Though the release date for her album hasn't been confirmed, the album is in its final stages. We can only tell you that it looks like it'll be a full-length album. We'll be making an official announcement soon," said the YG rep (via Allkpop).

Whenever the comeback is finally confirmed, it will be Lee Hi's first comeback since her 2013 album release "First Love." Since that release, Lee Hi has grown to be 19 years old, suggesting that the concept for her new album may feature more mature concepts.

Whatever the case may be, the album will still have the influence of Tablo, who was put in charge of producing Lee Hi's comeback due to Yang Hyun Suk's busy schedule with Big Bang, Psy, and iKON's releases.

An affiliate of Tablo's label HIGHGRND released a statement about Lee Hi's comeback last year in August.

"Since CEO Yang Hyun Suk is so busy nowadays, he worried that he won't be able to manage Lee Hi's comeback to the best of his abilities. That's why he trusted Tablo's producing skills and left her to him. Tablo accepted his favor without hesitation and is currently under preparation to perfect Lee Hi's comeback," said the HIGHGRND affiliate.

Here's hoping for the sake of Lee Hi fans that the singer won't have to wait too much longer for her album release.
